From their home on our farm within the Dartmoor National Park, our sheep are lovingly raised to produce this amazing fibre which is then spun locally to create our yarns.  100% British Wool. The Masham is bred from a Dalesbred and a Teeswater and has gorgeous long curly locks of lustrous wool. The yarn has this lovely shine which is gorgeous natural and really glows as a dyed yarn. Our farm is home to about 300 sheep of various breeds. Find out more about us in The Flock section. All of our yarns are hand dyed on the farm in small batches. Every skein will have a variable amount of colours and tones as they are all totally unique! 100g of DK is approximately 170m in length.  We recommend that all knitters knit a sample tension square to gauge their tension before commencing a project.Hand wash only - colour may transfer
